It goes without saying that Nvidia's RTX 40-series will be the most interesting upgrade to its GPUs we've seen to date.

There have already been rumours about the enormous performance bump the future boards will provide.

But according to a recent source, the GPU lineup will be even better than anticipated.

Technology insider Kopite7kimi, who has been at the forefront of next-generation GPU speculations, was quoted by TechRadar as saying.

According to a recent statement, Team Green's AD102 GPU die, which is rumoured to be the chip powering the RTX 4090, should be "easy to reach 2.8GHz, at least not very hard."

The GeForce RTX 3090, in contrast, has a base clock speed of 1.79GHz.

In any case, a fresh communication from Kopite suggests that the aforementioned 2.8GHz figure and the notion that it is not difficult to attain that clock speed is actually an understatement.

In response to his initial tweet, he has since added: "I must say we can expect a lot higher frequency."

We'll have to wait till both businesses formally unveil their new graphics cards before we can judge.

Team Red may finally outperform Nvidia in terms of efficiency and performance, according to speculations surrounding their products. ALSO READ : When will Netflix release Better Call Saul Season 6?
