Nicolas Cage to reprise his role as Noir in Spider-Man Universe?  

According to The Ankler, Nicolas Cage is in "serious talks" to return to his role as the wall-crawling neighbor's genial but moody counterpart, the detective from the 1930s. 

We are awaiting formal verification on the subject. The grizzled character in Into the Spider-Verse was voiced by Cage before. 

The new show is anticipated to take place in New York City in the 1930s. 

It would be an amazing accomplishment to see the Academy Award winner take the webslinger position at 60 years old, if this report turns out to be true.  

It's still unknown how this will ultimately come to pass—whether he will voice some serious soliloquies once more or assume the role permanently. 

WGA strikes may have started out with some encouraging outcomes, but in the end, they caused some unjust unravelings for some projects.  

MGM+ / Amazon Studios intended Silk to be yet another live-action spin-off set in the Spider universe.
