Shailene Woodley  has joined Craig Gillespie's newest movie as Dumb Money from Black Bear, expanding the cast.

The film is now in principle photography and is based on the Ben Mezrich book The Antisocial Network, which explores the conflict between Reddit trolls and one of the largest Wall Street hedge funds.

Woodley joins the ensemble, which also includes Paul Dano, who most recently played The Riddler in Matt Reeve's The Batman, and Seth Rogen, who will also be appearing in Steven Spielberg's The Fabelmans later this year.

Rebecca Angelo and Lauren Schuker Blum pen the screenplay for the film and serve as executive producers, with Aaron Ryder of the Ryder Picture Company producing .

Woodley has received widespread acclaim for her performances in movies like The Fault in Our Stars and the Divergent series.

She was originally cast as Mary Jane Watson in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but her scenes were ultimately deleted from the movie.
