According to news sources, NBA player Miles Bridges has been accused of child abuse and domestic violence.
This followed accusations that he had abused his fiancee last month while the couple was out with their two children.
His girlfriend, Michelle Johnson, has accused Charlotte Hornets, a professional basketball player who competes in the NFL, of the crime.
As a result of the attempted assault on June 27 and 28, at a home in Los Angeles, she also published gruesome photos of her injuries.
Johnson, 24, had previously been mum on the subject.
On social media, she alleged that Bridges had choked her to the point of unconsciousness before punching her in the face.
The incident left her traumatized and with concussion.
The children, however, were unharmed. Bridges is facing three criminal counts.
According to the papers, Bridges has been accused of injuring a child’s parent on one felony offense and two felony counts of abusing children.
When police arrived at the basketball player’s home the following day, he handed himself in and, according to the authorities, was freed after paying a $130,000 bail.
Bridges is a restricted free agent this year, which means the Hornets are free to match any deal offers.
