Megan Thee Stallion Responds To Haters With Her New Song, "Hiss"

Megan Thee Stallion dropped Hiss, her most recent song, a few days after teasering a brand-new snake-themed single.

In the biting new song, the 28-year-old rapper has called out people who have disparaged her.

Supporters think Megan has also targeted fellow rapper and Hot Girl Summer partner Nicki Minaj.

On Monday, January 22, the Big Ole Freak posted a graphic art picture of herself with a snake around her neck on Instagram as a way to tease the song.

As a follow-up to the announcement, Megan declared on Wednesday, January 24, “I just wanna kick this s**t off by saying, f**k y’all! I ain’t gotta clear my name on a motherf**kin’ thang. I get mentioned, one of y’all b***h a** n***as get 24 hours of attention. I’m finna get this s**t off my chest and lay it to rest, let’s go!”

Hiss is Megan's first solo release of 2024 and, therefore, a sequel to her November 2023 song, Cobra.

The song achieved great success and peaked at No. 10 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart of Billboard. Staying true to her concept of snakes, Megan published Hiss late last night (January 26). The music, which is filled with profanity, is a vicious assault on her detractors.
