Lucifer star Tom Ellis is set to join the Hulu romantic drama Tell Me Lies

Tom Ellis, star of Lucifer, has secured a significant part in Tell Me Lies season 2. Tell Me Lies, a Meaghan Oppenheimer creation, made its Hulu debut in September 2022.

t is based on Carola Lovering's 2018 novel of the same name. It focuses on the connection that develops between Grace Van Patten's character Lucy Albright and Jackson White's character Stephen DeMarco over the course of eight years after their college meeting.

Catherine Missal, Spencer House, Sonia Mena, Branden Cook, Benjamin Wadsworth, and Alicia Crowder are also in the cast.

According to Deadline, Ellis has been added to Tell Me Lies season 2's regular cast. He will portray Oliver, a Baird College lecturer with an intimidating demeanor and a tough love style that isn't well-liked by everyone.

He weds Marianne (Gabriella Pession), Lucy's professor, and there are hints that one of the main characters may suffer untidy consequences as a result of his influence.

On the new series Second Wife, Ellis and his wife, co-creator of Tell Me Lies Oppenheimer, will collaborate once more.

The narrative, which has been called a dark comedy, centers on Sasha (Emma Roberts of American Horror Story), who, following a heartbreaking split, moves to London and soon meets a divorced father (Ellis).

But once they foolishly tied the knot, they discovered there are many things they are powerless to avoid. Ellis and Roberts will both serve as executive producers.
