Warner Bros Animation's adult comedy series will include Leslie Jones as the principal voice actress.

Leslie Jones, the comedian, is poised to star in an adult animated comedy series now in development at Warner Bros. Animation.

She will also be an executive producer, according to Variety, in addition to voice the primary character of Plastic in the untitled series.

The plot for the untitled show is yet unknown.

According to the outlet, this new show is unrelated to the female-led take on the DC character Plastic Man that was rumoured to be in the works as a film back in 2020.

There is currently no writer or network linked with the project. Details about the plot have also been kept under wraps.

Jones is an outstanding actor and stand-up comedian who has been nominated for three Emmy Awards.

She rose to prominence during her tenure on 'Saturday Night Live,' where she worked as a writer and actor for several seasons until departing in 2019 to star in other TV shows such as 'Our Flag Means Death,' and 'Workaholics,' according to Variety.
