The 74th Primetime Emmy Award nominees have been announced! The Television Academy has revealed the nominees for the next awards presentation, and while this year's nominations feature many significant snubs and nods, the Lead Actress Categories continue to be among the most intriguing and competitive.

It is not surprising that Zendaya is nominated for Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her work as Rue in Euphoria; the actress seems to have secured the nomination with her renowned performance in Season 2 Episode 5 of the popular series.

The actress previously won her first Emmy in the same category back in 2020.

Killing Eve's co-lead actresses Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh have both received nominations.

Comer won the prize in 2019, despite the fact that Oh was nominated for the same show in the Drama category in both 2019 and 2020.

Laura Linney was also nominated for her role as Wendy Byrde in the final season of Ozark, she also landed nominations in the same category in 2019 and 2020

. Melanie Lynskey has been nominated for her captivating performance as adult Shauna in the freshman series Yellowjackets.

Reese Witherspoon rounds out the nominees in this category by nabbing a nomination for her role as Bradley Jackson in The Morning Show.

On September 12, 2022, a live broadcast of the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards show will air on NBC in the US.
