Kim Kardashian recently discussed the progress of their co-parenting arrangement with Kanye West, her ex-husband.
The 42-year-old SKIMS founder talked about the polarising musician and their four kids during a guest appearance on the “Angie Martinez IRL” podcast on Monday, according to “People” magazine.
Kim admitted, “Co-parenting is really f***ing hard,” she saidas she was brought to tears.
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, who share the daughters North and Chicago as well as the sons Saint and Psalm, finalised their highly publicised divorce in November after West’s on-and-off social media play-by-play of the proceedings.
Despite what is happening with West, Kardashian maintains her decision to insulate their children from what happens online and claims she is trying her best.
Kim added, “If they don’t know things that are being said, why would I ever bring that energy to them? That is real, heavy, grownup s— that they are not ready to deal with.”
“When they are, we will have those conversations. One day, my kids will thank me for not sitting here and bashing their dad. I could,” she said.
She further said, “I definitely protected him and I still will in the eyes of my kids. For my kids. So, in my home, my kids don’t know anything that goes on (in) the outside world.”
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have recently settled their divorce according to Page Six.
After recent accusations surfaced alleging that West had skipped a deposition in their ongoing divorce lawsuit, the announcement of their settlement quickly followed.
