Kevin Costner And Christine Baumgartner Finalize Their Divorce After 18 Years Of Marriage

The formal divorce between Kevin Costner and his former wife Christine has been completed.

People was able to get court documents on Tuesday, which show that the court canceled their marriage on Friday, February 16.

Back in September, the actor from Yellowstone and his spouse decided to keep joint custody of their three kids.

The bitter divorce procedures between Costner, 69, and Baumgartner, 49, have finally come to an end when Baumgartner filed papers in a Santa Barbara, California court, requesting to be exempted from a required co-parenting course.

Together, the ex-couple has three children: a daughter, Grace, 13, and two sons, Cayden, 16, and Hayes, 15.

On May 1, 2023, Christine filed for divorce, citing April 11 as the date of separation. The couple had been married for eighteen years.

"It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action," a spokeswoman for Costner stated at the time.

The statement added, “We ask that his, Christine’s, and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”

Following Chirtsine's May divorce petition, the pair appeared in court numerous times until September 2023, when they worked together to resolve a number of issues, including child support.
