Due to his diagnosis with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which has left half of his face paralysed, Justin Bieber has postponed his remaining US tour dates, which were originally slated for June and July.

The artist has also cancelled his appearance at the Summerfest music festival in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which was scheduled for the end of June.

"Justin continues to receive the best medical treatment available, is enthusiastic about his rehabilitation, and is looking forward to getting back out on the road and playing for his fans worldwide later this summer," his AEG tour promoter said in a statement, confirming the postponement of gigs.

Bieber is said to be resuming his tour on July 31 and will be performing in Italy at the same time.

Justin recently posted on Instagram about how he has been maintaining a positive attitude during his recovery, writing, "Each day has gotten better."
