Due to his diagnosis with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which has left half of his face paralysed, Justin Bieber has postponed his remaining US tour dates, which were originally slated for June and July.

The artist has also cancelled his appearance at the Summerfest music event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which was scheduled for the end of June.

The cancellation of his gigs was confirmed by his AEG tour promoter, who said in a statement,

"Justin is continuing to get the finest medical treatment available, is optimistic about his recovery, and looks forward to returning on the road and performing for his fans worldwide later this summer."

Bieber is said to be resuming his tour on July 31 and will be performing in Italy at the same time.

Justin recently posted on Instagram about how he has been maintaining an optimistic attitude during his recuperation, writing, "Each day has gotten better."

"I know this storm will pass," the singer stated, adding that he is optimistic in his recovery.

Hailey Bieber, the singer's wife, recently offered an update on his health during an appearance on a talk programme, stating that he is doing well "He's doing fantastically... He's doing much better now, and it was obviously just a very terrifying and strange circumstance ", as reported by Good Morning America.
