The first teaser trailer for the upcoming action movie John Wick: Chapter 4 has been released by Lionsgate.
After John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum’s record-breaking opening weekend, which went on to gross over $300 million globally, John Wick: Chapter 4 was originally revealed.
Keanu Reeves will make a comeback in the fourth film as the titular assassin, who was last pictured with numerous wounds from falling from the Continental Hotel’s roof. The movie will premiere on March 24, 2023.
Chad Stahelski, who is replacing franchise originator Derek Kolstad as director, is working from a screenplay co-written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch for John Wick: Chapter 4.
Stahelski stunned audience members at the panel with a sneak peek of the future action movie, even though John Wick 4 is still a year away.
Fans saw the first poster, which has Keanu Reeves front and centre with nunchucks, in addition to the new footage.
The John Wick 4 teaser, which amounted to around a minute of all-new material, showed Wick training and taking down a variety of villains
Fishburne’s Bowery King extinguished a candle at the end of the trailer, which appears to be related to the first picture that was released earlier this week.
Since Reeves’ debut as the titular John Wick in 2014, when Russian gangsters broke into his home and killed his puppy Daisy, the John Wick franchise has been flourishing.
The release date for John Wick 4 was originally set for March 24, 2023, but delays prevented that from happening.
