On December 13, BTS member Jin became the first member of the group to enlist for his 18-month required military service.
He was scheduled to undergo basic military training there for 5 to 6 weeks after arriving at the Yeoncheon base camp in Gyeonggi-do, according to reports.
Jin's first selfie in his military uniform was published with the public in a recent update from the Korean military app.
Fans and well-wishers of Kim Seeokjin, the BTS member's true name, were able to see his first appearance from the base in the form of a selfie ten days after he started his military service.
Fans noticed how his buzz cut appears to have grown prematurely as he wore his trademark camouflage outfit.
Jin gave the camera a small smile and appeared to be every bit the attractive man he is.
The eldest member of BTS, who is also one of the friendliest and funniest, received an outpouring of support from the BTS Army.
Before joining the military, Jin made his solo debut with the single album "The Astronaut," on which he collaborated with the English band Coldplay and even travelled to Argentina to present the song at the band's Buenos Aires concert
In June 2024, Jin is anticipated to receive his formal military discharge.
