At the 2022 BET Awards, rapper Jack Harlow will be there to support his friend Lil Nas X.
Prior to the Awards ceremony, Harlow strolled the red carpet in front of a dazzling crowd and made a strong impression with his sharp appearance.
The rapper from First Class arrived at the show's red carpet on Sunday wearing a Lil Nas X T-shirt, which he expertly matched with his Givenchy shoes and jeans.
Harlow wore his friend's T-shirt to show his support for him after Nas was passed up for an award.
Nas later expressed his love for Harlow on Twitter by retweeting a photo of the rapper wearing a T-shirt and writing, "wow I really love this man," according to ET Canada.
The reason Harlow felt compelled to speak out so forcefully in favour of Lil Nas X is because the two megastars worked together on the hit song Industry Baby while Harlow was nominated for an award at the event where Lil Nas X was overlooked.
Nas had criticised the award event in his since-deleted tweets for snubbing him of a nomination for the second year in a row, especially at the start of Pride Month and Black Music Month.
Late To Da Party featuring Youngboy Never Broke Again, which was released on Friday.
Prior to its release, Kanye West's 2020 social media stunt in which he tweeted a video of himself urinating on a Grammy was referenced in the rapper's single cover art, which showed him appearing to urinate on a BET Award trophy in a restroom stall.
The BET Awards clarified in a statement that they not only adore the rapper but have also twice granted "his incredible talent and ingenuity" a stage at their programme, the BET Awards 2019 and the BET Awards 2021.
This was in response to Lil Nas X and his criticism of the Award ceremony.
