Harry Styles was photographed in his pyjamas ahead of his first appearance on CBeebies.

When the Watermelon Sugar singer was announced as the newest celebrity to read a Bedtime Story earlier this month, parents were taken aback.

He'll read 'In Every House, on Every Street,' which was written by Jess Hitchman and illustrated by Lili la Baleine and is a heartwarming celebration of homes and the various families who live in them.

Harry, who rocketed to fame as one-fifth of the X Factor-created boyband One Direction, will be on televisions tonight (Monday, May 23), and in first-look photos, the 28-year-old can be seen wearing blue and brown patterned pyjamas and a heavy bead necklace.

He's also seen smiling at the camera while sitting cross-legged on a yellow armchair.

Meanwhile, the singer's nails are painted the same yellow as his shirt, and he has a ring collection on his fingers.

He joins Hollywood actor Chris Evans, best known for his role as Captain America, Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl, and British actor Tom Hiddleston as CBeebies Bedtime Stories guests.

"Tonight's bedtime story is about a house full of love and joy," Harry is slated to remark as the story begins.
