Leif, Freydis, and Harald’s long trip are teased in new Vikings: Valhalla season 2 photos, which also reveal when the new episodes will air.

The historical drama Vikings, which aired for six seasons on the History Channel and on Amazon Prime Video before ending in December 2020, has a follow-up spin-off called Valhalla.

With its dramatic last episode and cliffhanger ending, the eight-episode first season’s popularity has sparked intense interest in the upcoming season 2.

Vikings: Valhalla debuted on February 25, 2022, and in March, Netflix approved seasons 2 and 3, prompting many fans to speculate when the second season may air.

The release date for Vikings: Valhalla season 2 has been set for January 12, 2023, according to a tweet from Netflix Geeked that claimed “The epic voyage continues.”

There have been numerous rumors about when the sequel may be available on Netflix.

The images reveal intriguing details about the upcoming season, including Harald, Leif, and Freydis’ journey following the shocking conclusion.

Even though Vikings: Valhalla is a spinoff of the original series, it takes place more than a century after the events of Vikings and introduces fresh people to the same setting.

The show focuses on the end of the Viking Age and the pivotal Battle of Stamford Bridge, which took place in 1066.

The second season will have lots of epic narrative opportunities due to the dispersed nature of the plot lines.
