The Dune prequel series, Dune: The Sisterhood includes two crucial Bene Gesserit characters.

The two primary roles for Dune: The Sisterhood have been cast, according to a recent report from Deadline.

Emily Watson from Chernobyl and Shirley Henderson from Harry Potter will play Bene Gesserit in the Dune prequel.

Watson and Henderson will take on the roles of Valya and Tula Harkonnen, respectively.

They are sisters who have attained positions of authority within the Sisterhood, the group that eventually gives rise to the Bene Gesserit.

The story of Dune: The Sisterhood, which takes place 10,000 years before Paul Atreides’ tale, follows the Harkonnen sisters as they change the Sisterhood into the Bene Gesserit.

When the show will start production is not yet known. In 2021, Denis Villeneuve used the renowned science fiction book by Frank Herbert as the foundation for a brand-new franchise.

David Lynch attempted to adapt Dune, but it was unsuccessful. The renowned director then made Dune into a critical and commercial success.

The film, which starred Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, and Oscar Isaac as Duke Leto, exceeded expectations during the COVID-19 pandemic and had a big sci-fi scope.

With Dune: Part Two and a Dune HBO Max prequel series, Villeneuve was able to continue creating new worlds because to the film’s success.
