James Gunn, who is also the film’s writer and director, updates Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 with assurance.

After working on The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker for the DC Universe, Gunn is back with Marvel Studios to complete the trilogy of Guardians of the Galaxy films.

The release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was initially scheduled to be one of the first films in Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4.

But it was ultimately postponed due to Gunn’s firing and rehiring, as well as the coronavirus pandemic.

Now, though, Gunn is occupied with post-production, and a May 2023 release date has been set.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, which will air on Disney+, is presently receiving press attention before Gunn’s final MCU film.

He may now provide an update on how the production of his impending threequel is proceeding by doing so

According to Gunn, who reassures this in a recent interview with EW, guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will satisfactorily close the MCU sub-franchise.

Gunn will devote the next few months to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 before beginning his sole work on DC.

The movie’s principal photography is finished, and the filmmaker now has ample time to focus on post-production.
