Season 2 of Gossip Girl will feature additional conflict and betrayal. Since early 2022, the cast of the HBO Max sequel series has been filming, primarily in Manhattan.
But in order to shoot fresh material for the show, the cast went to Rome.
Season 2 filming for the show has been seen in Italy with Evan Mock, Emily Alyn Lind, Whitney Peak, Jordan Alexander, and Eli Brown.
After the premiere of the first half of the season, the show was renewed for a second season in September 2021. In November 2021, season 1’s second half debuted.
Nine years after the first blogger’s website went dark, the sequel series follows a new generation of teenagers attending private schools in New York as they learn about social surveillance.
There have been references to the initial television series, which aired from 2007 until 2012.
Season 2 of “Gossip Girl” features Michelle Trachtenberg as Georgina Sparks. As the season 2 drama heats up, Luna and Monet appear tough and prepared.
Showrunner Joshua Safran made it known during the show’s first season that none of the primary characters from the original series will feature in the relaunch.
Although they were explicitly mentioned, characters like Blair, Serena, and Dan never appeared on the show.
Veteran characters from the original Gossip Girl made some major cameos in the remake, including Dorota, Cyrus, Eleanor, and Vanya.
