Following the Riddler’s flooding in the previous movie, the severe winter in Gotham City is depicted in Batman 2 fan art.

When The Batman debuted in theatres earlier this year, it received favorable reviews from both audiences and critics.

Robert Pattinson is the Caped Crusader in the movie, going up against Paul Dano’s Riddler.

Both Pattison’s outstanding lead performance and Reeves’ portrayal of a grimy, noir-inspired Gotham City won accolades for The Batman.

Reeves and Pattinson will reunite for The Batman 2 even though a specific release date has not yet been determined.

Despite the lack of information regarding the sequel, fan artist Jaxson Derr has created new The Batman 2 artwork that imagines an especially harsh winter in Gotham City.

The Batman 2 fan art depicts a snow-covered Gotham with plenty of hazardous ice after Riddler blasts the seawall in addition to featuring Robert Pattinson’s Batman.

Derr also discusses his ideas for the follow-up in the caption, anticipating a chaotic Gotham after the National Guard deserts the city.

Even though The Riddler is in jail at the movie’s conclusion, the film still foreshadows future challenges for the Caped Crusader.

At the conclusion of the film, Batman chose to embrace his role as a symbol of hope and justice in Gotham City as opposed to one of terror.
