Eleven will be at her darkest point yet in Season 4 of Stranger Things.

Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven in Netflix's famous supernatural horror series Stranger Things, has revealed that season 4 would see her character reach her lowest point in the show yet.

Stranger Things follows a group of young friends as they strive to solve the mysterious phenomena that plague their town and combat the monstrosities bursting through from the parallel realm known as the "Upside Down." It is set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana.

Brown has now revealed a little more about what Eleven will face in the forthcoming season, and it sounds like it will be a very trying time for the telekinetic heroine.

The performer said her character is "in the darkest position she's ever been" and that it's "the hardest season [she's] ever recorded" in a group interview

I read the script and I see Finn and some of the other characters having such a fun time, and you get to see Eleven in the darkest state she’s ever been [in].

This is definitely the hardest season I’ve ever filmed and there have been some of the scariest things I’ve ever seen as a human, which you guys will get to see and I’ll get to tell more stories and touch on my experiences as a person filming on the set with these legitimate scary things.

This claim that Eleven will be at her "darkest condition" in Season 4 will inevitably lead to speculation about how this will affect the supernatural happenings that surround her and her allies as they face yet another Upside Down evil.

Indeed, it's possible that it sets the stage for more escalations and issues for the intrepid gang. Stranger Things Season 4 premieres on May 27

so fans won't have to wait long to see how Eleven deals with her emotional issues while battling her inter-dimensional ones.
