The upcoming Korean war drama movie Devotion now has a trailer thanks to Sony Pictures. A genuine story is depicted in the film, which features Jonathan Majors and Glen Powell

The Toronto International Film Festival will host its international debut of it in September of this year, and on November 23 it will be seen in theatres

The film is based on the Adam Makos book Devotion: An Epic Story of Heroism, Friendship, and Sacrifice.

Glen Powell, the star of Top Gun: Maverick, is thrust into the Korean War in the trailer. The actor plays Thomas J. Hudner, the wingman of Jonathan Majors’ Jesse L. Brown, the first Black combat pilot in the history of the U.S. Navy.

The movie centres on Brown as he struggles to fit into the U.S. Navy while away from his wife and new child. On the other hand, when they fly sorties over the Korean peninsula, he grows close to Hudner Jr.

The film will follow Brown and Hudner Jr.’s relationship throughout their time as wingmen throughout the battle, a profound bond that impacted both the pilots’ lives, more so than the action-packed high-flying action and grim war drama promised by the trailer.

The movie’s production status was revealed less than a year after the book’s publication. J.D. Dillard, who also directed Sleight and Sweetheart,

The new trailer showed an epic war movie centred around the two pilots’ risk-taking friendship, and the poster is a fantastic continuation of that.

Along with the trailer, they also released a fresh poster hinting at the suspenseful experience. On the poster, wingmen Tom Hudner and Jesse Brown (Majors and Powell, respectively) are depicted wearing their flight suits and hovering above an arctic dogfight.
