Friends fans rejoiced recently when their favourite onscreen couple Ross and Rachel, aka David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston, engaged in some fun activity online.
Schwimmer left a hilarious comment on Jennifer’s Instagram post promoting her new haircare line, and she even recreated the same photo.
David took to Instagram and posted a cheeky photo of himself in the shower, all lathered up in soap, with the caption, “@jenniferaniston – a towel I hope??”
While fans couldn’t stop laughing at David’s joke, Aniston quickly responded to Jennifer’s post, which featured the actress in a steamy shower photo with the caption, “Something’s coming.”
Aniston also re-posted the post on her Instagram stories, this time with laughter and a heart emoji.
Schwimmer and Aniston played Ross Geller and Rachel Green on all ten seasons of Friends, which aired from 1994 to 2004, and their characters’ love story is still a fan favourite among sitcom fans.
Numerous Friends fans were delighted to see Jennifer and David’s amusing banter, and one Instagram user responding to the same wrote, “See? He’s like her lobster.”
A user wrote, “MY EYES! MY EYES!” in reference to another Friends reference that has become synonymous with Lisa Kudrow’s Phoebe Buffay.
Fans of the sitcom have been fervently shipping “Jenvid” following their recent appearance on the Friends reunion, where both Jennifer and David admitted to having a crush on each other while filming the show.
