Focus Features has revealed two cast members who will be joining its upcoming movie, Lisa Frankenstein, as filming ramps up.

Cole Sprouse and Kathryn Newton joins the cast of Lisa Frankenstein. Kathryn Newton, who recently found fame as Millie Kessler in Freaky, will co-star with Cole Sprouse, who is well-known for his role in Riverdale

The tale, which uses the Frankenstein formula, centres on a teenage girl who unintentionally reanimates a young man’s corpse and rebuilds him to her liking, a reference to the movie’s title.

The original Frankenstein story by Mary Shelley served as the basis for the movie’s plot.

Although Lisa Frankenstein’s specific narrative is yet unknown, given its fresh perspective on a well-known tale, it might make for an intriguing contribution to the legacy of the original tale.

The movie’s release date has not yet been determined, but principal photography will begin this summer as soon as production gets underway.

Lisa Frankenstein might be a compelling movie for viewers to see because it has two skilled protagonists and a creative plot with a well-regarded writer.

Zelda Williams will make her feature film directorial debut with Lisa Frankenstein.

The project’s creative executive will be Michelle Momplaisir, VP Production and Development at Focus Features.

Williams makes her full-length directing debut with this movie. WME and Entertainment 360 are Newton’s agents. WME, Brookside Artist Management, and DLA Piper all represent Sprouse.
