According to reports, Chris Evans and Emily Blunt are considering working together in the next Netflix production Pain Hustlers.

The protagonist of David Yates' Pain Hustlers is high school dropout Liza Drake, who is battling for a better life for both her and her kid.

No further details have been made available regarding Evans' part in the movie.

The new project is reportedly in the vein of drama movies like The Big Short, American Hustle in terms of tone. Late August is anticipated to mark the start of production on Pain Hustlers.

The story of Pain Hustlers revolves around Liza Drake (Blunt), a high-school dropout who is struggling to give both herself and her daughter a better life. 

After Liza gets a job at a failing pharmaceutical startup in Florida, however, she unexpectedly finds herself at the center of a dangerous criminal conspiracy.

Since his highly successful stint as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe ended in 2019, Evans has appeared in multiple critically-acclaimed films

The actor's relationship with Netflix has grown, too, after Evans starred in the thriller film The Red Sea Diving Resort for the streaming giant.

As for Blunt, who was initially tapped to play Black Widow in the MCU, Pain Hustlers will mark her first collaboration with Evans .
