Chris Evans spoke up about his love life in a recent interview with Shondaland.
The actor discussed the difficulties of finding love in the profession, revealing that he is currently "laser-focused on finding a partner."
The Avengers star was most recently linked to Jenny Slate, whom he met on the shooting of his 2017 film Gifted.
The actor will appear with Ryan Gosling, Ana de Armas, and others in Netflix's forthcoming original production The Gray Man.
hris plays the villain in the film, an assassin who is obsessed with finding down his victim.
When asked if he had ever sought something in life similar to his nasty role in the film, Chris answered that he was "gonna give a good answer."
He said, "The answer would be that maybe laser-focused on finding a partner, you know, someone that you want to live with."
The actor then spoke about the profession and the various ups and downs that come with finding love.
He said, "I mean, look — I love what I do. It’s great; I pour all of myself into it. But in terms of even this industry is full of pockets of doubt, hesitation, and recalibration in terms of really trying to find someone that you really can pour all of yourself into."
He then added, "Maybe it’s about trying to find someone that you’re looking to spend your life with. Yes, so maybe it’s that."
