Camila Cabello opens up about her post-breakup life and personal growth

In the most recent Call Her Daddy podcast episode, which aired on Wednesday, Camila Cabello spoke up about her thoughts on intimacy following a split.

The 27-year-old singer of "Bam Bam" said she was amenable to the concept of "breakup sex," provided the other person wading through the depths of feelings.

“I feel like if you're wanting to have breakup sex, you're probably gonna hit each other up next week,” Cabello remarked.

The "Havana" singer went on to support so-called forbidden love by advising people to "date him until you hate him."

“And like I said, I'm sorry, I'm a proponent. I don't believe in the forbidden fruit — if you want it do it. Kinda like 'date him until you hate him' vibe. I don't actually hate anybody but I'm saying do it until it's out of your system,” she expressed.

Although it may seem like a waste of time, Cabello thinks the experience beneficial for herself, even though she acknowledged that her perspective may differ from that of her friends.

“I also think the hard part is that sometimes you do waste some time in that way,” the ‘Cuba’ native added.

“You're still entertaining something, and maybe there could be somebody out there that's better.”

Cabello advocated for breakup sex as long as the individual takes the time to think on themselves and their motivations.

According to her, the secret is to understand why one is choosing this particular road and to put in the "inner work."
