Camila Cabello is being open on her current thoughts about her love life.

She is changing her expectations and priorities for her romantic relationships as she gets older.

She was in a highly publicised relationship with Shawn Mendes until their heartbreaking yet amicable breakup in November 2021.

In a joint statement released in November 2021, Mendes and Cabello both acknowledged that their two-year romance had come to an end.

Both have since talked about their love in public and even appear to have dedicated their most recent works to one another.

The songs Bam Bam from Camila Cabello’s new album and Shawn, who recently released When You’re Gone, allude to the couple’s relationship.

The message read, “Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another is stronger than ever.”

The 25-year-old singer continued by joking that she participates in a lot of excellent group chats.

Cabello added, “I just want to live my life and have great friendships. If something comes out of [them] that’s something more, then that’s great.”

In the meanwhile, Camila Cabello announced in May that she would be a coach on Season 22 of The Voice, taking Kelly Clarkson’s place, along with Blake Shelton, John Legend, and the returning Gwen Stefani.
