Black Adam from DC has already lost money to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The most recent Phase 4 theatrical film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe debuted on November 11 in theatres.

The movie explores how the various Wakandan characters from the first movie are processing T’Challa’s passing, a development that was added to the plot after Chadwick Boseman’s untimely death in 2020.

. In addition, Tenoch Huerta’s Namor, the ruler of Talokan’s undersea realm, poses a fresh threat to Ramonda, Shuri, and the rest of Wakanda.

Winston Duke as M’Baku, Danai Gurira as Okoye, and Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia are among the MCU actors who are making a comeback.

Before its second weekend in theatres, THR reports that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has made $400.4 million in box office revenue.

The previous superhero film for the post-summer season, DC’s Dwayne Johnson movie Black Adam, has already topped the film’s total.

Black Adam had a record-breaking opening weekend on October 21 before drastically declining after that. The most successful November launch weekend in history was achieved by Wakanda Forever, which makes it an especially tough competitor.

Between Black Adam, which is currently at #12, and Uncharted, which is currently at #10, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is currently the year’s eleventh-highest-grossing movie globally.
