Disney’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is currently the fifth-highest Hollywood movie of 2022 at the global box office with $767.8 million.

However, the long running time and lack of action in the Marvel sequel are starting to be felt, particularly in foreign markets.

With no Russia and China to boost its international numbers, Wakanda Forever is currently sitting at a mediocre $358 million

Wakanda Forever recently became just the third movie of 2022 to pass $400 million at the domestic box office.

There was a significant amount of responsibility and duty on the producers and the entire team to continue Chadwick Boseman’s legacy after his passing.

It appears that the movie has so far been successful in meeting up to expectations in the absence of the real Black Panther

Wakanda Forever has dominated the domestic box office in North America for five weekends in a row.

It earned an additional $11.1 million during the weekend while playing in 3,725 theatres, bringing the overall takings to $409 million.

Interestingly, it is the first movie to top the weekend charts for five consecutive weekends since its predecessor Black Panther.

Black Panther 2 is still in charge because there isn’t another blockbuster movie.
