One of the anticipated superhero blockbusters of 2022, “Black Adam,” starring Dwayne Johnson, introduces a number of new heroes and villains.

The script for the movie directed by Jaume Collet-Serra of “House of Wax” was written by Adam Sztykiel, Rory Haines, and Sohrab Noshirvani.

Aldis Hodge and Sarah Shahi, who play Hawk Man and Adrianna Tomaz, respectively, are fresh faces. Noah Centineo portrays Albert “Al” Rothstein/Atom Smasher, and Marwan Kenzari portrays Sabac.

The debut of Doctor Fate, played by former “James Bond” actor Pierce Brosnan, is noteworthy.

In spite of the fact that the character has appeared in the DC animated series “Justice League: Animated” and “Cadmus Crisis,” the live-action role is expected to debut in “Black Adam.”

When Kent Nelson/Doctor Fate was first featured during the Golden Age of Comic Books, he worked as an agent for the Lords of Order, a group of enigmatic magical creatures whose mission was to save the universe from supernatural dangers.

Nelson accidentally awakens Nabu while on an archaeological journey with his father, which causes Nelson’s father to pass away.

Nabu transforms the little kid into a man after feeling sorry for him for losing his father and teaches him magic so he may be his agent.

The character’s description in fandom is as follows: “Doctor Fate, a formidable sorcerer, and representative of the Lords of Order are Dr. Kent Nelson.

He joined the Justice Society of America as one of its first members.” In 1940’s More Fun Comics #55, he made his debut.
