Warner Bros. is surprisingly releasing Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam movie on digital platforms before the start of the holiday season. The DC Universe didn’t have many movies released in 2022, but Warner Bros.

Discovery did release Black Adam, an anti-hero film that had been in development for a while with Johnson playing the title character.

This October, Johnson finally joined the DC Universe as Black Adam and brought the Justice Society of America to the big screen after spending years in development hell.

Warner Bros. is bringing Black Adam home for audiences almost a month after it opens in theatres.

Black Adam may now be purchased digitally for $24.99, according to the studio, and it is also currently available for 48-hour rentals via PVOD on a number of digital platforms for $19.99 SRP.

Black Adam, the next DC Universe film, will be released on 4K ($49.98), Blu-ray ($39.98), and DVD ($34.98) on January 3, 2023, according to Warner Bros.

Black Adam can be bought digitally, but the studio hasn’t yet made it available on HBO Max. Johnson’s DC Universe movie is most likely anticipated to be available for streaming on their platform either on that exact day or at least sometime that month, even though Warner Bros.
