Dwayne Johnson is set to play DC’s anti-hero Black Adam in the upcoming film of the same name
On June 8, the film’s first trailer, starring Dwayne Johnson in the titular character, was released.
The actor plays a DC Comics villain in the two-minute trailer. Based on the photographs, teaser clips, and posters.
The trailer for Black Adam presents an odd blend of modern and ancient worlds.
Doctor Fate, played by Pierce Brosnan, also makes an appearance.
Dwayne Johnson’s character undergoes some sort of transformation at the start of the trailer.
Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam is also seen fighting members of the JSA in the trailer.
The trailer builds on the previous teaser trailer by allowing us to see Hodge in his full glory as Carter Hall’s alter ego Hawkman, as well as a closer look at how the JSA works as a unit.
Black Adam, which has been in production for more than a decade, will be released later this year.
The upcoming movie will have a different tone than any of the previous DC flicks, as evidenced by the trailer.
