Beyonce gently erased her sample of Kelis' song Milkshake off her most recent album, Renaissance, after Kelis accused her of stealing the material.

The exclusion was made only a few days after the 42-year-old singer publicly accused Queen B of stealing her music.

In response, Queen B removed the sample rhythm from Kelis' song Energy from all streaming services.

Kelis criticised the music business for treating her with "no soul or integrity."

Kelis took to Instagram and posted a comment on a fan account as she wrote, "My mind is blown too because the level of disrespect and utter ignorance of all 3 parties involved is astounding."

She went on to share her piece, "I heard about this the same way everyone else did."

She added, "Nothing is ever as it seems, some of the people in this business have no soul or integrity and they have everyone fooled."

As part of her ongoing campaign to tell her side of the story, Kelis commented on another fan's Instagram post praising the song as "the collab the world really needs," to which she responded, "It's not a collab, it's theft."

Kelis was also taken out of the song's credits by Beyonce following their divisive internet relationship.

Prior to addressing the Kelis incident, Queen Bey had to address internet users who thought her usage of the term "sp*z" in the song "Heated" was ableist.
