Mario's third sports game for the Nintendo Switch will be the unexpected series comeback, and the stakes are a little higher this time.

While Mario Golf: Super Rush had superb golfing systems, the overall package was lacking.

Outside of the game's short, superficial RPG story mode, there wasn't much to do.

While the information is currently lacking, the online integration appears to be filling in the gaps.

Mario Strikers: Battle League appears to be able to scratch a co-op sports craving that is generally saved for FIFA for individuals who enjoy playing games like this with pals.
