The Bank of Dave, a biopic about Dave Fishwick, a working-class Burnley man and self-made millionaire who pushed to establish a community bank to aid local companies, is being produced by Netflix UK. 

The Netflix movie has finished filming and will be available on Netflix worldwide soon.  

Here’s everything we know about Bank of Dave so far. Chris Foggin, whose credits include Death in Paradise, Cold Feet, Friend Request Pending, and others, directed the film. Piers Ashworth wrote the screenplay (Save The Cinema, Blithe Spirit). 

Piers Tempest (Military Wives, Ordinary Love, The Wife), Matt Williams (Save The Cinema, Last Train to Christmas), and Karl Hall of Future Artists Entertainment are the producers of The Bank of Dave.

Rory Kinnear, Joel Fry, and Phoebe Dynevor are the main characters in Netflix’s The Bank of Dave. 

Dave Fishwick will be played by Kinnear (No Time to Die, Penny Dreadful, Black Mirror). Joel Fry (Game of Thrones, Our Flag Means Death) will play Hugh, a young London lawyer hired by Dave to represent him in his battle against the British financial system. 

Alexandra, the fiery local doctor, will be played by Dynevor (Bridgerton). Hugh Bonneville (Notting Hill, Paddington), Paul Kaye (Game of Thrones, After Life), and Jo Hartley round out the cast (After Life).
