At the recent Red Sea International Film Festival, Jackie Chan made a point of being present.
He said that plans are being made for the fourth Rush Hour movie.
In the festival, he also revealed his future goals, saying that he would be making "less action stories, more love stories."
He said, "We're talking about part 4 right now," and added that he will be meeting with the film's director today evening to go over the screenplay, according to Deadline.
He failed to identify the director by name. But for the uninitiated, Brett Ratner helmed the first three iterations of the film.
Jackie Chan celebrated 60 years in the film industry this year. He thought of the film festival he was getting ready for and his present project. It was described as a "drama film for women" by him.
Brett Ratner is in charge of directing the buddy action comedy. Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker are the main actors in the first act of the film.
Tzi Ma, Tom Wilkinson, Ken Leung, Mark Rolston, Elizabeth Pena, and Rex Linn are the supporting actors.
Rush Hour 2 and Rush Hour 3 are the titles of the film series' second two sequels.
