Singer Asha Bhosle and her granddaughter Zanai Bhosle went to Mumbai for dinner  to a Japanese restaurant. 

On Instagram, a paparazzi account posted a video in which the two could be seen getting out of the car and walking towards Miz in a drizzle. 

Zanai held Asha’s hand as they walked together. They also took pictures and laughed outside the restaurant.  

Asha draped a white and blue saree and also carried a scarf. Zanai wore a printed red dress. 

Asha anointed her food while some plates were placed near her, Zanai posted the clip, in which she wrote, “Best dinner date.” 

She also  added some flower and red heart emojis to tag Asha. “Dinner Date” takes place just one week after Asha’s 89th birthday.  

Tutu Haiwahi sang  from her 1982 film Yeh Vaada Raha and also wrote a long poem praising Asha.  

Asha began her  singing career in playback in the late 1940s, bringing her most memorable songs to Hindi cinema
