After a drunken attack on her and their children on a plane in 2016, Angelina Jolie filed for divorce. She now accuses her ex-husband Brad Pitt in court documents.

Pitt sued her in February over selling her stake in their French winery, claiming they agreed neither would sell without the other’s approval.

Jolie claims in the countersuit that during the altercation, Brad Pitt choked one of the children and even punched another one in the face.

The actress has also stated that she sold her share of the winery to achieve “financial independence” from Pitt and peace and closure after what she claims was a particularly stressful and terrible period in the lives of her and their children.

‘The actor allegedly attacked Jolie and her children on a private plane on September 14, 2016, five days before she filed for divorce’, according to court documents obtained by CNN.

Jolie has detailed the alleged incident in the documents. Pitt and one of his six kids, who were between the ages of 8 and 15, got into a fight, according to Angelina.

An official representing Brad Pitt issued a statement to CNN in response to Angelina Jolie’s countersuit allegations, calling the claims made by the actor’s ex-wife “absolutely incorrect.”

The spokesperson added that fresh, unsupported claims are constantly being made against Jolie. Brad has accepted responsibility for what he did, but not for things he didn’t do, according to the statement.

No criminal charges were brought against Pitt in connection with the 2016 plane incident that involved Angelina and Brad, according to court records that were previously made public in August.
