The Pirates of the Caribbean actor filed a $50 million slander lawsuit against Heard in May
Heard writes of being a victim of sexual harassment and assault in Hollywood in her article, calling herself a “public figure symbolizing domestic abuse.”
Heard stated the article had a significant impact on both his personal and professional lives, even though he did not specifically mention Depp by name.
Heard now claims she has resolved her defamation lawsuit against Depp in a statement uploaded to Instagram, despite the fact that both parties appealed the judgment.
She claims that her “unprotected testimony functioned as entertainment and social media fodder,” and Heard expresses her dissatisfaction with the American court system.
