Actors Hilary Swank, Olivia Cook, and Jack Reynor will appear in Miles Joris-upcoming Peyrafitte’s film Mother’s Milk as per Variety. 

The film, dubbed a opioid thriller, centres on a journalist who teams up with her son’s expectant fiancée to track down his killers.  

Together, they attempt to find those responsible for his death while battling a drug- and corruption-filled underworld in a small upstate New York city.

The script was co-written by the director and Madison Harrison, with whom they had previously worked on the film As You Are

Produced by Shaun Sanghani of SSS Entertainment, Emma Tillinger Koskoff, and Siena Oberman of Artemis Pictures, the movie recently finished filming in New York. 

Together with Peter Winther, Brent Stiefel, Lizzie Friedman, Karen Lauder, and Greg Little of Priority Pictures, Swank executive produces the movie. 

Swank will next be seen in Alaska, an ABC drama series developed by Tom McCarthy, in addition to Mother’s Milk.

Her work on the Lionsgate film Ordinary Angels, in which she co-stars with Alan Ritchson of the Jack Reacher fame, recently came to an end. 

Cooke is well recognised for playing Emma Decody in the A&E drama-thriller series Bates Motel and Becky Sharp in the period drama miniseries Vanity Fair. 

 The Peripheral, a Scott Smith-directed Prime Video production, will feature him next.
