With the upcoming releases of Kraven the Hunter, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Madame Web, starring Dakota Johnson, Sony's Spider-Man character lineup is rapidly expanding.

The animated Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, however, is arguably the studio's most eagerly anticipated release. The first poster for the new film was recently posted on Twitter by the film's producer, Christopher Miller, who captioned it, "Here is a fun little poster produced for the Across the Spider-Verse crew."

The studio's animated film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, however, may be the one that fans are most eager to see. "Here is a fun little poster designed for the Across the Spider-Verse crew," the movie's producer Christopher Miller recently revealed on Twitter.

The film's predecessor, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse, won the Best Animated Feature Oscar at the 91st Academy Awards, becoming the first non-Disney/Pixar picture to do so since 2011's Rango. It was a visual treat with the sensation of entering a comic book panel. It appears that the Spider-verse as a whole is following in its footsteps.

The second instalment in the series and first of a two-part story, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, is scheduled for release in 2024. Following the events of the first film, Miles (Shameik Moore) will reunite with Spider Gwen in the sequel, Across the Spider-verse (Hailee Steinfeld)

With Spider-Man 2099 facing off against a group of fresh Spider-people (Oscar Issac). The characters for the new films are kept securely under wraps, though Jake Johnson will be returning as the funny Peter B Parker.

Each dimension depicted a new animation style while Miller later confirmed that the story will take place across six universes and features about 240 unique minor and major characters, however, per the producer “the story is personal and centers on Miles and his family, along with Gwen and a handful of others.”

Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson are in charge of directing the second instalment of this trilogy centred on the universe. Miller, Phil Lord, and David Callaham wrote the screenplay.

Spider-Man Across the Spider-verse is set for a June 2, 2023, release.
