One of the producers of the film "57 Seconds" is sharing details about the experience, from working with Morgan Freeman to filming a sequence with a plane in a field in Lafayette.

Griff Furst is a producer on the Hollywood picture shooting in Lafayette and Acadiana.

For nearly four years, the film has been in the works.

"57 Seconds is the narrative of Josh Hutchinson, a young man who stumbles onto this unusual technology.

It's a ring that allows him to reset time to 57 seconds.

"So he utilises that ring to get himself into the elite echelon of society, but it also creates a downward cycle in terms of ethics," Furst explained.

Furst discussed the plane sequence that was filmed in Broussard and garnered positive feedback from locals and truckers.

"There's a scenario where there's a struggle inside a plane that's flying through the sky before it crashes."
