The third instalment of the Jurassic World trilogy has joined Spider-Man: No Way Home, Top Gun: Maverick, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in surpassing the ludicrous $800 million mark at the global box office.

With $824.5 million, it joins the latter two titans as the third-highest grossing movie of 2022.

With an additional $26.8 million added to the cume over the weekend, Jurassic World Dominion continued its onslaught across the box office with some strong overseas support.

The movie has made close to $500 million worldwide, with China in particular helping it to keep growing.

The movie only experienced a 22 percent dip over its fourth weekend, with Sunday showing particularly good results with only a 16 percent drop.

International markets have generally been robust, with France and Germany maintaining strength and Australia benefiting greatly from school holidays.

Despite the fact that China continues to watch the movie, it is not gaining nearly as much popularity there as its two predecessors did.

Despite everything, the $185 million budget for Jurassic World Dominion will be more than quadrupled.

With an astounding $386 million opening weekend globally, it already managed to far exceed that estimate.

Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Mamoudou Athie, and Campbell Scott, members of the current generation of Jurassic actors, join the classic quartet in the movie.
