Story

Plot

“Twisters,” a stand-alone follow-up to the 1996 disaster movie, centers on a new generation of storm chasers who have to deal with deadly tornadoes and unheard-of obstacles throughout the American Midwest. They are working to implement a cutting-edge weather alert system in an attempt to save as many lives as possible in a race against the clock. Personal rivalries, unanticipated betrayals, and the unrelenting wrath of nature itself threaten to split their team apart as they traverse the hazardous terrain.
