Story
The last assignment for renowned bounty hunter Samuel Stone (Max Brown) looks to be the most difficult one yet as he approaches the end of his illustrious career. Recognized for his abilities to locate lost masterpieces, Stone receives a final assignment from the mysterious Countess Ilaria di Lucca (Nico Toffoli) to locate the elusive “Evangelion Crowley,” a book rumored to contain horrifying secrets and steeped in antiquated magic.
Set in a world where magic and commonplace collide, Stone’s quest takes him through a magical and shadowy world. There are rumors that the book has been lost for centuries and that its power is unfathomable. Stone must make his way through a dangerous magical underworld that is full of cunning enemies and strong allies as he sets out on this dangerous adventure.
Following the mysterious trail of clues left by earlier adventurers, Stone comes across a variety of fascinating people, such as the mysterious Magister Barres (Peter Stormare), a sorcerer with a secretive plan, and the reclusive Paul Görg (Christopher Lambert), a scholar of ancient texts whose loyalty is still a mystery.
Stone’s own troubled past, which is entwined with the very secrets he is seeking, must be faced in the midst of the hallucinogenic landscapes of the magical realm. By revealing a tale of betrayal, power, and redemption, his quest compels him to face a legacy from which he has long sought to distance himself.
When the big battle approaches, Stone has to choose between destroying the Evangelion Crowley to stop its potentially disastrous power from being used against the world or gaining control of it for himself.
Plot Summary
On the point of retirement is a bounty hunter who specializes in finding missing masterpieces. Before he can hang up his boots, however, he receives a last-minute assignment from an enigmatic Countess: locate the fabled book known as Evangelion Crowley, which is rumored to contain unbelievable secrets. He must face both allies and enemies from the shadowy occult worlds as he embarks on this bizarre and perilous magical journey.
