Story
A young boy’s life in the brutal, unforgiving region of West Texas is completely upended when his sister is taken hostage by Cut Throat Bill, a violent and infamous killer. The boy begs Peter Dinklage’s character, Reginald Jones, a tough and unforgiving bounty hunter, for assistance in his desperate attempt to save her. Renowned for his keen intellect and unwavering determination, Reginald undertakes the task, assembling a diverse group of misfits who each have a vested interest in the pursuit.
Among the group are Arliss Howard (James Hetfield), a former grave digger with a sordid past, and resourceful woman-for-hire Lula (Esme Creed-Miles). They must travel through “The Thicket,” a dangerous area with little law and order and plenty of danger around every corner. As they navigate treacherous terrain and confront various adversaries, they face brutal challenges and uncover hidden secrets that test their loyalty and courage.
Plot Summary
