Story
The Order explores a string of violent bank robberies, armored car heists, and counterfeiting schemes that terrorize the Pacific Northwest in 1983. An FBI agent stationed in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, begins to believe that these crimes are the product of a radical domestic terrorist group in addition to being financially motivated, while law enforcement remains perplexed. This group, under the command of a charismatic and dangerous leader, is preparing a devastating attack on the federal government. In an effort to foil their schemes and avert a national emergency, the agent is running out of time.
Plot Summary
A wave of violent and unsettling crimes, including bank robberies, counterfeiting operations, and armored car heists, engulfs the Pacific Northwest in 1983. Communities are left terrified and confused in the midst of the mayhem. A deeper, more sinister plot is being uncovered by an FBI agent stationed in the quiet town of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, while traditional law enforcement is having difficulty piecing together the connection between these crimes.
Agent David Hunter (Jude Law) believes that a radical group of domestic terrorists is responsible for these crimes rather than just being driven by financial gain. Inspired by their dangerous and charismatic leader, Nicholas Hoult, this group intends to wage war on the federal government. Hunter discovers a conspiracy that threatens the foundation of society as he digs deeper.
