Story

“The Conjuring: Last Rites” is expected to provide a terrifying experience by fusing new and horrifying elements with the supernatural intensity of the previous films. Plot Summary

In the spooky new “The Conjuring” film, Ed Warren (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine (Vera Farmiga) are summoned to London when a series of strange and horrifying things start to happen in an ancient cathedral that has been converted into a convent. The “Last Rites,” a mysterious ritual that, if performed, is said to unleash unimaginable horrors, appear to be connected to an ancient and malevolent force that is causing the disturbances.

The novice nun Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga), who just joined the convent, finds herself at the center of the paranormal chaos. A disturbing link between Sister Irene and a long-forgotten exorcism gone wrong is discovered by the Warrens as they investigate the dark past of the cathedral. In order to prevent the ritual from continuing and save Sister Irene before the world is overtaken by the ancient evil, the group must work quickly.
